AMMAN
- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Translation, Distribution and Publishing (TAG-Publish) has
recently released a book authored by Mr. Ihssan Al-Tamimi titled “Short
Stories, Expressing Profound Lessons by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh”. The book narrates
humanitarian and meaningful stories and experiences recalled by HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
(TAG.GD). It takes readers through an intellectual and human journey that draws
lessons from Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life and experience that extends beyond storytelling.
The
book offers insights into Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh's life, thought, and professional
experience through stories in which he recalls people he met, places he
visited, moments that remain deeply rooted in his memory, and words that left
an enduring impact on his journey.
Moreover,
the book’s content goes beyond narrating memoirs to exploring the deeper
meanings and significance inherent in human experiences, offering valuable
lessons on thought, life, and dealing with others.
The
idea for the book stems from a personal experience of its author, Mr.
Al-Tamimi, who listened to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s stories over time. He recognized
their intellectual depth, narrative simplicity, and ability to transform daily
situations and fleeting experiences into ideas worthy of reflection and
documentation. As these stories accumulated, the idea took shape to gather them
in a book that preserves their details and conveys their underlying meanings
and lessons to readers.
The
book adopts a reader-friendly narrative style, giving each story its dedicated
space, away from the traditional biographical structure. It presents a
collection of situations and stories where personal experience meets
intellectual reflection, showing how a small detail, a passing encounter, or a
word spoken at a particular moment can carry a meaning that remains vivid in
memory for many years.
In his
introduction to the book, Mr. Al-Tamimi noted that the idea did not start as a
writing project, but rather with listening to exceptional personal stories in
every sense of the word; stories narrated by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh with spontaneity
and warmth. The book presents Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh as a person who is
compassionate, kind-hearted, sensitive, and caring in his dealings with others.
His words and actions reflect a profound sense of love and goodwill, making the
experience of listening to him just as impactful as the ideas he shares.
In the same
context, Mr. Al-Tamimi stated that listening to such stories from a person who
combines profound experience, genuine emotion, and spiritual warmth gave them a
different significance. They do not reach the listener just as memories from
the past, but as experiences filled with humanity. Such stories reveal a warm,
personal side of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh where wisdom meets humility, thought meets
affection, and experience meets a human spirit that sees the goodness in people
and preserves small details in memory.
Ultimately, the
book's title summarizes its core philosophy. Some stories, no matter how minor
their events may seem, present profound human experiences and reveal wisdom
that is not expressed directly, but instead finds its way into the heart
through a passing moment, a sincere word, or a memory that remains alive over
the years.
